How can we help?
Frequently asked questions
Here are a few common questions our guests have about our rides. Whether you're planning your first ride with us or returning for another adventure, we're here to help you prepare. If you have any other questions, don't hesitate to reach out to us – we're here to ensure your experience at Rising K Ranch is unforgettable.
Is there a minimum age to ride?
We allow riders as young as 3 years on The Juniper Loop, The Cedar Trail Ride, and The Sunset Horseback Rides.
You must be at least 8 years old for The Half Day Ride, and for The Mountain Horseback Ride we require riders to be at least 12 years old
Yes, the weight limit is generally 220 lbs. However, if you're over 220 lbs and also over 6 feet in height, please call the ranch to discuss your ride options and schedule.
No prior experience is required. We provide brief riding instruction before each ride to ensure your comfort and safety
Long pants and close-toed shoes are required for all rides, and be sure to dress appropriately for the weather.
In winter, we recommend wearing a warm hat, mittens, thin socks with heavy wool socks over them, warm coats, and other winter clothing. It's better to be overdressed than underdressed in Utah winters.
Join us at Rising K Ranch, where every trail tells a story, and every ride is an adventure waiting to happen.
